The Buddha taught that 'Hate is not conquered by hate: hate is conquered by love.'
Members of the World Congress of Faiths invite people of all religions to join them in meditating on this principle and praying that the Buddhists monks and nuns of Burma and the lay people will be strong enough to live by the teaching of the Buddha and that the time will come when all the people of Burma live in peace and justice
